FUNDING MODEL 2015-16

Funding Model 2015-16 LLC Funding rates Enrolment On-programme Positive Progression Payment (PPP) Achievement (timely or non-timely)

Enrolment 8% of the LLC Funding Rate Payable when the learner has passed the appropriate census date (2 weeks for short programmes, 6 weeks for long programmes)

On-Programme Divided into equal monthly values Paid every 3 months, or on completion of the learning aim, whichever is sooner

Positive Progress Payment Flat rate of £50 per learner Payable where a learner progresses into sustained employment, self-employment, or further training, within 90 days of planned end date

Achievement Timely Achievement – Non-Timely Achievement – 25% of the LLC Funding Rate payable on the successful achievement of the learning aim in a timely manner (within 90 days of planned end date) Non-Timely Achievement – 15% of the LLC Funding Rate payable where the achievement is non-timely

Additional Learning Support £120 per learner per month (irrespective of the number of aims), for programmes of longer than one month ALS claims must be supported by an assessment of the support required a planned programme of support evidence of support delivery

Under Represented Client Groups A bonus will be payable for the successful completion of specific under-represented learners on specific courses – for example, women successfully completing construction courses. Details of bonuses will be specified in the individual sub-contracts.

General SFA Funding Rules apply – e.g. learner eligibility Separate rates for fully funded or co-funded Delivery outside London may attract lower rates
