As we look at each word, on the right side of your paper: Write “Student:” and then what YOU think the word means. For now, focus on guessing what the words mean based on the context clues in the sentences and pictures, don’t worry about the dictionary definition (that comes later). There are no wrong answers for “Student Definitions” – it’s just to help you remember the definitions, making guesses with your own words. You will be tested on these words in three weeks, so be sure to spell correctly!
