College Spotlight Videos Texas A&M University at Galveston is a special-purpose university for students interested in studying the sea!

Location: Galveston, TX Humble to Galveston: 1 hour, 10 minutes Gulf of Mexico. Gulf of Mexico.

TAMUG is a branch of Texas A&M Sea Aggie Band Students are known as “Sea Aggies.” They share Texas A&M’s colors, Maroon and White.

Sea Aggies want to work in and study the ocean! There are groups that SCUBA just for fun! And there are SCUBA classes to learn how to research (study) the ocean.

Texas A&M Galveston began in 1962. How many years ago was that? 2015 -1962 ??

USTS Texas Clipper: My Anchor is Good Luck! Tradition: The Anchor The anchor serves as a memorial to the USTS TEXAS CLIPPER. She served Texas A&M University at Galveston for 32 years. Students can often be seen rubbing the anchor for good luck before exams.

The Sea Life Facility helps injured Sea Animals, such as turtles. CLICK HERE to watch a video about the Sea Life Facility! “Milagro” was the first turtle to be helped by the facility. I had a broken shell! The Sea Life Facility at TAMUG helped me and now I’m back in the ocean! Click me for a video!
