Come on down to the Port Lincoln Wharf.

Where most of our fish are caught commercially Where most of our fish are caught commercially. Then sold to local businesses.

Like The Fresh Fish Place right near the racecourse.

But sadly we do not see most of the best fish, as it gets sent over to Asian countries like Japan.

The fish is then freshly prepared in Port Lincoln’s finest restaurants.

We take care of various other goods as well.

Such as; Wheat, Tuna, Grain, Fruit & Veg and Meat.

We also get up to 5 cruise ships come through Port Lincoln every year.

Which benefits our tourism industry hugely.

Port Lincoln also has a plethora of trading partners.

Australia exported $36,224 million dollars worth of goods to Japan in 2016. And imported $19,637 million. Including Japan,

Korea, Australia exported $18,133 million dollars worth of goods to Korea in 2016. And imported $ 16,955.

The USA, Australia exported $12,433 million dollars worth of goods to the USA in 2016. And imported $ 29,761 million.

Singapore Australia exported $5,560 million dollars worth of goods to Singapore in 2016. And imported $ 7,127 million.

And last but not least, China. Australia exported $81,780 million dollars worth of goods to China in 2016. And imported $ 59,504 million. And last but not least, China.

Facts about Port Lincoln Port Lincoln was first in line to be South Australia’s capitol, but the title was given to Adelaide as fresh water was easier to find. Port Lincoln’s population is around 16,147 people Port Lincoln has churned out famous names like; Kyle Chalmers, Tony Santic, Lauren Nourse, Graham Johncock and Shaun Burgoyne.
