Looking forward Continue advocacy for Additional Federal Funding in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers budget for Inland Waterways and Small, Remote or Subsistence Navigation Identify opportunities to increase waterway use by commercial operators (e.g. M-64 Express- Port of Virginia to Port of Richmond- 15k Truck Trips) Investigate and develop non-federal funding modeled after North Carolina and Florida Support and encourage innovative and beneficial use solutions for dredge material management
