Group Activity In groups of 2-4, decide on one of the following categories in which you are going to enter a new product: Restaurant Clothing Store Sporting Goods Store Movie Studio Once you have decided which category you are going to enter with your new product, decide on 5 questions that you would ask on a survey to help determine which type of product you are going to introduce. Each group needs to interview 10 people obtaining the answers to the questions you created.

Group Activity Continued Once you have recorded all of your answers, discuss as a group what item you are going to introduce, based on the market information you received from your interviews.  Once you have decided on the product that you are going to introduce, prepare a presentation for the rest of the class using whatever you would like (Poster board, PowerPoint, etc.) As a group, be prepared to share this information with the rest of the class.  I am looking for more professional presentations than when you presented your new product in the last project. This assignment is worth 25 points and will be based on the quality of the presentation, as well as participation.  Each member of the group must present a portion of the presentation.  The presentation should include: How you came up with the category How you came up with your interview questions Why the information you discovered led you to your new product.

Shark Tank Pay attention to what the guests are presenting.  Did they do a market analysis, did they consider what strengths and weaknesses their product has?  Did the sharks as questions in regards to these items? https://youtu.be/1JRge1rDknc
