How a toaster works! By Maia!
Introduction! A toaster is a piece of kitchen equipment that everyone can use. You can use it to toast bread, crumpets, english muffins and other things.
Description of parts! A toaster has small buttons, a bread crumb tray, a leaver to push the toast down, a dial and the elements. The buttons are to defrost, reheat and stop the toast. The bread crumb tray is so the crumbs don’t go all over the bench. The dial is to adjust how much you want your toast toasted. The lever is to push the toast into the elements to toast it. The elements are used to toast the toast.
How it works! First you have to make sure it is plugged in and turned on. When it is, put the bread in the slices where the elements are. Next push the lever right down so you can’t see the toast. Now you wait until the toast is popped or you can press the STOP/CANCEL button to make it pop early. If the bread is frozen you can press the DEFROST button then push the lever down. If the bread has been in the fridge or is cold, push the REHEAT button then push the lever down.
Conclusion! You should never put a knife in the toaster when it is switched on. You also shouldn’t leave it unattended on switched on when you are not toasting anything.
THE END! HOPE YOU LEARNT LOTS!
