Presentation transcript:

Conservation international SUPPORT TO COUNTRIES FOR TRANSPARENCY FRAMEWORKS Technical support/capacity building to: Develop reference levels, improving information base, measuring emissions and tracking activities and results related to the land sector/REDD+ (ie MRV systems) Transferring lessons from the land sector to other sectors for MRV (the land sector is more advanced because of the rigor of REDD+). Stakeholder engagement and development of Safeguard Information Systems that cover both safeguards and Non-Carbon benefits Build upon processes for mitigation MRV to promote the tracking and MRV of adaptation activities. Develop implementation plans for any nature-based elements of NDCs (REDD+, EbA)  Design institutional structures and coordination mechanisms for implementation and tracking. Design enabling policies and regulations for all of the technical activities listed above Integrated monitoring systems/platforms and Advocacy around use of the Data/and Data Driven Policies
