The Supernatural Elements in Frankenstein The creation of Frankenstein is the supernatural element in the story of Frankenstein. The creatures creation is what makes this novel considered gothic. The fear of unknown is brought up in this novel, so that is another reason why it could be considered Gothic. An example of a supernatural being in Frankenstein is “Magical Creations” which can be also known as the creature.

How this topic relates to Frankenstein Our topic, German Gothic Horror plays a big role in the story of Frankenstein. While supernatural beings play a big role in German Gothic Horror, German Gothic Horror plays a big part in Frankenstein. The creature is an example of a supernatural being.
