1- Training Needs Assessment Evidence needed to be revised by NAQAAE A consolidating report that covers the following points: The shortages in performance or skills need to be enforced based on the results of the Staff Annual Evaluation Matters raised in the EE reports that needs to be enhanced by staff development (like exams / marking / …..) Matters raised in the APR reports that needs to be enhanced by staff development (T&L skills/ marking / personal tutor …..) Minutes of the meetings conducted to collect staff opinions . Survey conducted and a report about the results of these surveys Reviewers will see these documents and ask staff about it in the meetings

Staff Development Plan Starts with an Introduction explaining : The objectives of the Staff development plan The process of TNA Action plan to be implemented . It should contain: Mechanisms / methods to measure the impact Training program Target groups duration Topics to be covered Who will deliver when Expected cost Achievement indicators

Implementation evidence For each training program a file should be prepared containing: Letter of invitation sent to the participating staff Attendance sheet (with attendees signature) The training materials Training program evaluation forms Copy of the certificates given to the trainees (if any) Evidence for payments (if any) Photos of the training sessions It is required that the staff development plan should be uploaded on the faculty website.

Empact assessment This is the last and most difficult step. It is prepared biannually or annually You need to compare the performance of the trainees before and after the training programs. So it is suggested to be biannually HODs can help in this by preparing a report about the improving of the staff who were trained .
