Responses of serum insulin to selective intra-arterial calcium stimulation in a patient with biochemical confirmation of inappropriate hyperinsulinism. 0.0125 mmol/kg calcium gluconate diluted in 5 mL normal saline were bolused into selectively catheterized arteries as indicated and blood samples collected from the hepatic vein at 0, 30, 50, 90, 120, and 180 seconds.
