Rihanna Representation Annotation Task. Annotate the following photographs with at least five labels to analyse how Rihanna is being represented. Aimed at a male audience because of the way she is dressed with that she’s wearing clothes that reveal a lot of her body, so men would be more inclined to look at the photo. Using very simplistic colours, blue red and white, red and blue are primary colours and so is white in a way. By using these colours it shows off how little she is wearing. Making eye-contact with the audience to try and make the picture become more flirtatious.

Not making eye-contact shows that she is embarrassed and feeling sad and wants sympathy. People also feel sympathy due to the cuts and bruises on her face. Showing she's in hospital gives the indication that this was for the doctors to analyse the damage done to her. Also could be used for evidence with her cuts and bruises showing up more prominatly than they would after a week or so.
