Cold War in America The U.S. government was not only helping and protecting Western Europe from Communism, but also focused on keeping Communism out of the U.S. Sound familiar???

Cold War in America Senator Joseph McCarthy was responsible for the 2nd Red Scare: (McCarthyism) He made accusations and charged regular people with being Communists or holding Anti-American views with no evidence
