My Flying Adventure Feeling a little strange, I woke up in my warm, cosy and comfortable bed. I got up carefully because my legs felt extremely light and I knew that something odd was happening. My feet were tingling, and felt as ticklish as a thousand tiny fish. I looked at the sapphire blue sky through my window , and knew that I wanted to fly with the birds who were chirping sweetly up above. Once I got up, I pulled on my clothes as fast as I could. I felt so excited because I knew that soon I would be soaring amongst the clouds. Excitedly, I ran down the stairs and out of my house. I continued to run through my garden and out onto the footpath where my feet suddenly lifted off the hard ground. Within a few seconds, I had risen high into the air, kicking my legs behind me as though I was swimming. I rose higher and higher. The wind was blowing through my hair and face, and butterflies were jumping in my tummy. This was the most exciting thing I had ever done! I decided that I would travel over my city. I used my arm to change direction and flew towards my house. I looked down on my street and it looked like a tiny, cute toy-town. I saw my Mum walking to the shop but she could not see me as I was so high in the air. Furthermore, I could see my best friend playing in the park. She looked like a very small doll in the distance, but she thought I was a bird. I could see Villagio in the distance, and even flew around the top of the Torch. After a while, my arms started to hurt, and I began to miss my family. I knew it was time to go home. I changed direction and set off for my home, and gracefully flew across the Doha skyline. After a while, I saw my home, and descended onto my footpath. I wondered if anyone would believe my story, but decided that I had to tell them about my wonderful adventure in the sky.
