A Macro is a sequence of comands triggered by an event such as power on or activity start. A macro can also be started by a button press with a custom button. This shows how to create a macro in an activity.

To add or edit a macro touch the squid eye.

For Power and Activity Macros Touch MACROS

This examples shows changing the power up delays

Touch the device needing delay adjustment. This is the time allowed for the device to warm up before switching inputs.

Use the + and – buttons to adjust the time in seconds.

Touch OK when delay is set.

Make Change.

Now to add a custom button with Macro.

Select Customize Buttons

Read the instructions

Choose a button to use and Long Press on it.

Touch Select Device

Select Create Macro

Select Customize Buttons

Now we add the functions the macro is to perform

Select a Device

Touch Select function

Choose the first function for the macro.

Touch Make Change

Add another function

Touch Select Device

Select a Device

Touch Select Function

Select Function

Make change

Long Press to adjust the delay after the command. This is only needed in certain circumstances, like sending channel numbers.

Adjust with + and - buttons

OK when completed.

You can continue adding functions for a longer macro. When complete touch OK.

Touch the button repeatedly to change the color. The touch the text box to change the name

Edit the name.

When complete touch OK.

You can continue adding custom buttons. Long touch to edit, short touch to test. When complete touch the Squid Eye.

Save Changes

Exit

The finished macro button
