Mrs. Yeates Class Classroom Newsletter October 13, 2017 Firefighter Visit –What a great time we had with our visitors on Friday. Bourbonnais Fire Dept. came to our classroom and talked about ways to stay safe and what to do if we have a fire in our house. “Firefighter Hannah” dressed up in her gear for us to show us that she isn’t scary in case she would come to our homes. Then, we were all able to go outside and get on the fire truck. Ask your child to tell you more about what they saw and heard. Then check out our website www.bishopmac.com to see the pictures of our visit. Cottonwood Farm Field Trip- Our field trip is quickly approaching. If you have not turned in your child’s $$$ please do so by next week. Just a reminder the cost is $17 per child and $9 if you are chaperoning. You can make out one check to BMCS. Religion- In religion this week we have been learning about the Pope. Students are now able to recognize Pope Francis when they see him in pictures and books. See if they can tell you any information that we learned this week about Pope Francis.
