The Bible's Profound Impact

The Bible is called “the word of life”. Philippians 2:16 (NASB) 16 holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.

The Bible is called “the power of God to salvation”. Romans 1:16 (NASB) 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

The Bible says it is the “living and powerful” Word of God. Hebrews 4:12 (NASB) 12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Its Impact On Society Wherever the Bible has been taken and its message accepted, it has proundly affected the culture into which it was taken.
