Presentation transcript:

Student Involvement – turning students into Shockers Students who spend time on campus outside of class are more likely to earn better grades and graduate than those who do not. Consider joining one of the 200+ student groups to strengthen your academic, leadership and life skills. To look at a list of recognized student groups, visit www.wichita.edu/involvement. Over 50 academic clubs currently exist in addition to special interest, cultural, social and other organizations.

Leadership Did you know WSU has a Leadership Certificate program? Check out all leadership opportunities offered on this site (www.wichita.edu/involvement). If you are already involved in a student group or community organization, consider taking on a leadership role. Being in a leadership role is marketable to potential employers and makes your application stand out among others for graduate programs, scholarships, etc.
