September 2013 Updates
Unlike the animals, we were just starting to get hungry... So we stopped for a picnic lunch. The girls were excited to eat corn from a tin and have ice cream for dessert!
Joey the Jumping Bunny had lunch with us as well, and Alma thought the ice cream was the best part!
The girls enjoyed filling their passports at every new station on the way - it certainly kept them motivated to move ahead!
We saw many interesting animals: koalas, wallabies and a lazy fat crocodile!
The design of the zoo tried to mimic the animals’ natural environments as much as possible
The zoo has a farm section as well. We met a funny looking chicken that growled at us when we came close! That was actually much more frightening than the crocodile...
Hahgoot was very interested in meeting all the animals so close, and especially enjoyed patting the kids and lambs. Alma was a little less enthusiastic after one of the kids tried to eat her bag...
In our next presentation: we finish our trip at Featherdale Wildlife Park!
