Climate The climate of the grasslands is hot all year. With wet seasons that bring torrential rain.

Location The grassland biome is located in North & South America, Eurasia, East Africa, New Zealand, Australia.

Animals The animals located in this biome are the African elephant, bison, camel, bull snake, zebra, tiger, giraffe, koalas, rabbits, lions, baboon, African wildcats, blue tongue skin, red tail hawk.

Interesting Facts Some interesting facts about our biome… The grasslands get between 25cm to 75cm of rain fall yearly. There was once millions of bison remaining on the North America grasslands. Elephants in the grasslands are from 13 to 24 feet tall. Bobolinks range from 15-20cm and weigh less than a pound. It is a cousin to the desert.
