BOGW and Academic Probation You have to meet academic and progress standards to receive BOGW Fee Waiver. ACADEMIC – sustain a GPA of 2.0 or higher If your cumulative GPA falls below 2.0 for two consecutive primary terms (fall/spring) you may lose your fee waiver eligibility PROGRESS – complete more than 50% of your units If the cumulative number of units you complete is not more than 50% for two consecutive primary terms (fall/spring) you may lose your fee waiver eligibility

Transcripts From Other Institutions If you attended another college, you may need to “clean up” those transcripts for SAC graduation and transfer purposes. This could come back and affect your transfer admissions acceptance and SAC graduation.

Withdraw Date Deadline for Fall 2017 Semester IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER Last date to drop semester-length classes with a “W” grade is November 19, 2017. Always check your web advisor class schedule for specific dates to receive a “W” grade for 12-week and 8-week courses. Communicate with your instructors prior to the withdrawal date by checking on your grade status.

In Conclusion Review your transcripts List possible Summer, Fall and/or Spring semester classes on the back of your transcript. Include classes with poor grades as possible repeats for subsequent semesters. Consider taking fewer units next semester. Meet with a counselor to sign-out of the workshop.
