AS Unit 1 High Level 3

Title: Textile Flowers This student has created and fine textile art piece based on a pansy. The preparatory work has been presented in sketchbook and investigates different types of flowers through a variety of media and techniques. Good practice is displayed in sketchbook, where the student has clearly developed the theme from the initial idea through to the final textile outcome.

AO1 Level 3 The student developed their ideas through sustained effective and logical development, whilst displaying a good understanding of sources.

AO2 Level 4 The experimentation is based on a wide range of techniques and materials. There is evidence of competent reviewing and refining throughout the work.

AO3 Level 3 The student demonstrated a good level of recording skills and ability to reflect on their work in progress.

AO4 Level 3 The final outcome exhibited very good personal response and content, with connections that were appropriate and relevant.
