Meeting with a dog- Opal at our school

On Friday 29 th October 2010 at our school there was a meeting of APE project members with Mrs Sara K.-a dog owner. She came with her dog - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. It is such a cute dog. She presented her dog to us. The dog's name is Opal and it is very friendly, funny and lovely. The Opal loves fun, games and walks with its owner. Our teacher- Mrs Malwina K-N.and Ms Sara K. talked about dogs’ breeds and many interesting things about dogs, both breed and mongrels. They paid our attention to the fact that a lot of dogs are treated in a bad way.For example, they have chains which can coause health problems. Dogs have no contact with people which affect their personality. During the conference, we discussed actions and happenings organized in our city and in the whole country. Many famous Polish people take part in such events. By taking part in those actions,we can get to know the feelings, emotions of all dogs, cats and other wild animals. We all enjoyed the meeting at our school as we were given lots of very interesting facts ,we broadened our knowledge about animals’ life. We are getting more and more aware of the fact that we all should respect animals in the world .
