Culture/Grammar Review Test tomorrow-review as needed/desired, ask me questions if you have any 3. Activity: Please use your same crayon color as yesterday (see me if you forget which was yours)- please complete /color the charts for all level 2 units *You may check out an ipad with me to view the lists 4. Ticket out: we will see both ASL 1 and 2 charts as a class (as time allows)

Notes: Deaf- “D”eaf refers to culturally Deaf, individuals who choose to identify with Deaf culture, pride in Deafness and ASL deaf- “d”eaf is a clinical/medical term that refers to the degree of hearing loss- a more severe or profound “loss” Hard of hearing (HH)- a term that many individuals with a range of hearing ability use to describe themselves- a culturally appropriate term (HH may also self-describe as Deaf). Hearing impaired- a culturally offensive term, used by the educational or medical community to describe the amount of hearing loss (less than “deaf”) List the 5 parameters of a sign (can you list them from memory? If not, you may check your previous notes )
