What does the title Lost Civilizations mean? Lost civilizations means ancient buildings, cultures and countries that no longer exist.
Loulan Pompeii
Pompeii 那不勒斯海湾 Pompeii, ancient city of Italy, a port near Naples and at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius. In August of AD 79, the city was buried alive by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

Chinese silks, tea, and jewelries were firstly sent to other areas and countries through Loulan. What puzzles us is that this kingdom suddenly disappeared after hundreds of years of prosperity繁荣. The reason for its disappearance is still a mystery.
