PERSONAL FINANCE: December 6 Learning Target: In order to successfully manage my personal finances, I will analyze the different types (or ways) of making payments. I will know I have it when I understand: (1) how credit can be useful to consumers; (2) what features I need to research when considering a credit card; (3) how items purchased with a credit card can end up costing more; and (4) the difference between a debit card and a credit card. --Continue Personal Finance: Everfi (www.everfi.net) & make sure to fill out test review while working (HO from earlier) -conclude Banking module (if needed) -complete the Payment Types, Interest Rates, and Credit Cards module --when done with post assessment: AP ONLY: when finished with modules, look over Building Wealth (HO), then (1) complete Sandra’s Balance Sheet; (2) complete the first three Real Life Balance Sheets; (3) complete the questions on charitable contributions and bankruptcy (use class set HO) -continue Avatar game -play the Texas Reality Check game (www.texasrealitycheck.com) REPORT TO C11 COMPUTER LAB UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Personal Finance Test: Friday, December 15th
