STAGE 3 – NUMBERS How many number pairs of numbers can you find that multiply, add, divide or subtract to make 24?

STAGE 3 – NUMBERS How to Play 24® Game All four numbers on the card must be used once and once only to make 24 using the four basic arithmetic operations: + - × and ÷ For example: you get a card with the numbers: 4 2 4 3 You could use the numbers in this way: 4 - 2 = 2 4 × 3 = 12 So, the ‘last stage’ solution is: 12 × 2 = 24 When you claim a card, you must give the ‘last stage’ first before explaining your solution!

Can you find a card that has TWO different ways of making 24? STAGE 3 – NUMBERS Can you find a card that has TWO different ways of making 24? Can you find a card that has THREE different ways of making 24?

STAGE 3 – NUMBERS Team up with one of your classmates. Select a tricky ‘2 dot’ or ‘3 dot’ card and see if you can come up with a solution together.

It’s time for a 24® Game match! STAGE 3 – NUMBERS It’s time for a 24® Game match! Challenge three different classmates to a game. Keep track of how many cards you have won in each game and make a note of your score!

STAGE 3 COMPLETE! You’ve crossed Westminster Bridge – place the sticker on your learning journey map!

STAGE 3 – NUMBERS BONUS TASK Keep practising and playing the 24® Game with friends and family until you can tick the following boxes:   Find the solution to a ‘1 dot’ card in 5 seconds Find the solution to a ‘2 dot’ card in 15 seconds Find the solution to a ‘3 dot’ card in 30 seconds
