Parts of a tree

introduction Here is our power point on parts of trees. We will be telling you about parts of trees. hope you enjoyed our power point.

Main parts of trees Here are the main part of a tree.

Here is inside the trunk from the outer bark to the pith.

Inside the branches Here is the branch. It is like the trunk. It also has bark, dry rot and a pith. The leafs grow on the branches.

More on the trunk On the outside is the bark. The bark protects the tree. The cambium is just inside the bark. It is paler than the rest of the trunk. The soft outer layers of recently formed wood between the heartwood and the bark, containing the functioning vascular tissue. The pith is right in the middle

The leaf Here is a diagram of a leaf. The leaf is very important. Leaf breath in carbon dioxide and out oxygen. Which keep us and trees alive.

Roots Here is a picture of roots. The roots support and give the tree water.
