R is for… Regional Conferences Every year each of the 11 NODA regions hold their own Regional Conference. These are a chance for discussion, an opportunity to elect Regional Representative and a celebration of regional achievements. Every year, NODA also holds the National AGM and the Presidential Gala. S is for… Summer School and Social Media The annual NODA Theatre Summer School attracts people from around Britain. It is an opportunity for both members of NODA and those who may be thinking of joining to come together for training and workshops, and to celebrate the role of everybody involved in amateur theatre. is for… Training In addition to Summer School, NODA offers its members a number of ad-hoc training sessions in most regions. T

U is for… Understanding NODA understands the needs of its members. We know that publicity is important to you so we send Regional Representatives to your shows to write reports on productions they have seen. These reports are published on the regional web pages. U

is for… Volunteers Without the commitment of those who give up time on a voluntary basis, the committees that run amateur theatre groups would not be the same, and NODA is proud to support voluntary committee members in various ways. V

is for… Website NODA members can use the website to list performances free of charge. This is a great publicity tool and is used by members of the public to see what’s on in their local area. W
