Describe two ways to change the view of a document. You can use the view tool at the top of the screen to make a selection. Or you can manually use the zoom tool on the toolbar.

How do you select a tool in Illustrator? The toolbar located on the left of the screen or by using the keyboard commands.

Describe three ways to navigate among Artboards in Illustrator. You can cycle through them using the arrows on the Artboard navigation panel. You can also manually select the Artboard you want using the dropdown arrow. Double-clicking the number to the left of the Artboard you want will automatically put that Artboard into full view.

How do you save panel locations and visibility preferences? Open the Window, tab go to Workspace, and finally click on work space to save your preferences.

Describe how arranging Document windows can be helpful. It allows you to compare and work on all your Windows at the same as opposed to individually.

How can you select an object that has no fill? You can click directly on the outline of the object to select it.

Explain two ways you can select an item in a group without choosing Object > Ungroup. You can use the direct selection tool or you can also use command click with the selection tool.

Of the two Selection tools (Selection and Direct Selection ) which allows you to edit the individual anchor points of an object? The direct selection tool

What should you do after creating a selection that you are going to use repeatedly? You should save it and name it for quick and easy access.

Sometimes you are unable to select an object because it is underneath another object. Explain two ways to get around this issue. You can change everything to outline view in order to select what is underneath or you can move the larger image to the back so the object you want is easily selectable.
