Communicating Data CO2 Concentration (ppm) YEAR Communicating Data Rubric What is the question? Explain the axes Explain the data collection Explain the relationship between the variables and what this means How does this answer/reflect on the question? 1750 1800 1850 1900 1950 2000 YEAR CO2 Concentration (ppm) 400 350 250 300 Grading rubric—explain dependent and independent variables and units Use a graphs the students are already familiar with. Here I chose a global warming graph, to be unbiased.  In my class, after walking through this graph with the rubric, I put up another graph that they are also familiar with and ask them to figure out the communicating data rubric with their group. After 6-8 minutes I have a group present it to the class. Try next graph in groups
