From: Esophageal motility disorders after gastric banding Fig. 3 Esophageal body manometry performed 18 months after gastric band placement demonstrating decreased peristaltic wave amplitudes with occasional double-peaked waveforms. Waveforms coincide with wet swallows. Mean resting lower esophageal sphincter pressure: 0.3 mmHg. Mean peristaltic esophageal body contraction amplitudes: 46 mmHg.
