Planning Committee Information exchange; Co-operation with the NRA; Seminar on planning principles in regions (representatives of the regions should be invited); Examination of possibilities to build overtaking lanes, mainly on Via Baltica, the Committee should make a report on this question.

Maintenance Committee Information exchange; Meetings on the following subjects: winter maintenance standards, seasonal traffic restrictions, balticroads.net website (together with the Administration Committee).

Construction Committee Harmonization of the unified market of the Baltic States; Information exchange; Links into homepages of the road administrations so the information on road works tenders are available in all Baltic States; Exchange of information on road work prices.

Traffic Committee Information exchange; Report on black spots determination methodology; NordBalt Seminar on Traffic Safety; NordBalt Seminar ACCESSIBILITY IN THE ROAD SECTOR IN THE NORDIC COUNTRIES The Committee should also prepare proposals how to eliminate the number of killed in traffic accidents.

Via Baltica Committee Meetings once a year; Report to Via Nordica Development of Main Road Networks both in the Baltic Countries and in Poland. Cooperation with EU and the EU Commission concerning Transeuropean network; Cooperation with Poland; Brochure or a report on accomplishments until 2007, current situation and planned activities on Via Baltica; Preparation of one joint report to the 27th International Baltic Road Conference. The Committee should gather information on Via Hanseatica.
