College for TN Values

What are Values? Values are things that are important to you. Do you value family time? Money? Hard work?

Why are Values Important? Values are critical when it comes to picking a career! Maybe you really want to work with computers so you think you’ll work in IT. But what if one of your values is being around people? How often do IT workers get to be around people? Maybe you would like Customer Support better? Your values and your job interact every day!

Discovering your Values Go to CollegeforTN, login, click on Learn about Yourself, then go to What are your Values? Answer the questions to find out what you value most when it come to your job. Remember – there are NO WRONG ANSWERS! If this is something you have never thought about before, take this time to think about how what you value interacts with what you want to do for a career. If you have questions, see Jessica Crosby from Niswonger She is here on Mondays and Wednesdays.
