 Maniks ECONET: ml

 Basic of ECONET: Basically Econet word is used as a low energy consumption network, but here Econet concept is based on intermittently and efficiently evaporating water on a large area in front of the heat rejection surface of Mini - Split, Rooftop, Air Cooled Chillers, Condensers and Dry Coolers.Econet

 What Is ECONET? It is having fully automated control lets discuss the working of econet with a simple day today life example of greenhouse in the farms or in the nursery. The main purpose of that greenhouse is to protect the plants from direct sunlight and keep the atmosphere cool. When the temperature exceeds to a certain limit the temperature in the greenhouse is been maintained by Heaters, Vents and fans. Vents and Fans help to cool the greenhouse on a sunny day, even at 20 degrees below zero; greenhouse air can heat up well beyond healthful levels. As these are conventional ways to control the temperature which are not much economic so Maniks introduced a very user friendly and economic device to control the temperature known as an “Econet”.Econet

 How it Works?  Econet uses water spray to control the temperature and for automatic control it uses sensors. Water spray provides an adiabatic cooling effect of the incoming air stream and it can be either initiated via an ambient sensor or alternatively by refrigeration head pressure override i.e. condensing pressure limit. As soon as these settings exceed a pre-set level the ECONET controller initiates water spray in order to lower the air on temperature for the condenser, hence, the condensing pressure can be lowered in order to save energy during high ambient periods 

 Features of Maniks ECONET :  There is a series of water spray sprinklers arranged parallel in order to provide uniform coverage area for good result of vaporation process. Nozzles are designed to operate with very low pressure and they can operate with normal city mains water pressure 1.5 Barg (21 psig) / (15m) and above.  Non metallic mesh provides an effective coverage area for an efficient evaporation surface with minimal air pressure drop Meshes are fixed in front of the heat rejection surface via spacer bars and/or fixing brackets to suit the unit configuration.

 Temperature Control:  Econet controller is provided with internal override terminals for a volt free input which overrides the temperature set limit and initiate intermittent spray as soon as this terminal is linked. This facility can be used to provide head pressure or manual remote override flexibility.  Water is sprayed intermittently to wet the meshes. The spray rate and duration are adjusted by the PLC based controller to suit the ambient conditions.

 Advantages of ECONET:  Temperature control is carried out without human interactions  Fully automated system is provided to mentain the temperature of the greenhouse  Conserves more energy as compared to conventional systems  Very economic and user friendly device  Mentainance cost is very low  Econet is an environment safe device

 Applications of Econet:  AC condensers and dry cooling applications  Air conditioning applications  Refrigeration systems  Greenhouses
