Become a CFM ® - Easy as 1-2-3 Prepare for exam through work experience and study (prep guide posted on ASFPM website) Identify exam date/location at www.floods.org and submit a completed application and fee to ASFPM Pass exam, which is: Closed book of 120 multiple choice questions 3 hours allowed to complete exam Score of 70 percent or better to pass

Maintain your CFM® Certifications are awarded by the ASFPM for a two-year period. CFMs must submit the following items to ASFPM every two years: Renewal Application (mailed to current CFMs) Continuing Education Credit (CEC) documentation Renewal Fee
