What is the date of Anzac day? Anzac Day in Australia is a national public holiday. It occurs each year on April 25th. On this date people recollect as and remember Anzac Day and feel pride for all Australians soldier who died.

Why do we remember Anzac Day? Anzac Day on 25th - April is not just that you died, but we can’t forget that day. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.

What is the Dawn Service? The Dawn Service is from 4.30am until 5.15 am, excerpts from the letters and diaries of Australians who experienced war firsthand will be read aloud by a representatives from each of the armed forces. Following these readings all will be quiet before the commencement of the Dawn Service. It is a public ceremony normally conducted by the Returned and Services League of Australia with involvement across all three services of the Australian defence force.

What is the Anzac Day March? Anzac Day March gives participating veterans and the general public an opportunity to honour those who served in the defence of Australia or its interests, especially remembering those who paid the supreme sacrifice or otherwise suffered as a result of their service.

The Last Post On that day the soldier is playing on the bugle to show respect and to remember the soldiers who died at war. Also, the Last Post means that it is the end of the day’s activities.
