PBT Teacher Directions - Multiple Sessions Assessment & Research Department - SDMC Teacher Instructions for Administering District Paper-Based Assessments Page 1 of 4 Class-Set Scripts Session 1 During testing, do not use cell phones, classroom phones, or computers (except to contact your school assessment coordinator in an emergency). Do not check email, grade papers, etc. Your full attention should be on students AT ALL TIMES. Although it is your responsibility to ensure that students are working independently, you are prohibited from reading the contents of the test and answer books before, during, and after the test. Once testing has been completed at a district level, your assessment coordinator will give you access to the test materials for review and planning. Make sure that each student returns their test book and answer sheet when Complete the following steps: Scripts Session 2 Say Today you will be taking Manatee County’s District Assessment for (subject name) to see how well you are achieving the Florida Standards. You will be taking Session 2 of this assessment to test your knowledge of the standards that you learned so far this year. It is important to do the best you can on each question. The information from this assessment will be used to make decisions about instruction. At this time, please distribute all testing materials (Booklets, Answer documents, Worksheets) Say Check your name on the front of the answer sheet. If the answer sheet you have does not have your name on it, raise your hand.

District Quarter 1 Tests When finished with day 2 and beyond: Let Traci know (not me) if you have make-ups. If you do, she will not touch your bin. Place all completed bubble sheets on the top so she can scan them (after day 2). Let her know when you have completed all tests so she can take apart your bin. Scores will be in SchoolCity as soon as she scans them. After the two week window, she will give you back your bubble sheets for 10 days maximum for you to go over them with your students. She has to get them back to return them. The questions will be in SchoolCity for these 10 days only. District Quarter 1 Tests
