Installation of WEBAGRIS under Linux Phase 1 : Installation Compatibility layer Is the implementation of API of Win16 and Win32 for operating systems based on Unix under platforms Intel. it permits the execution of program for MS-DOS, Windows 3.11, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000 ,Windows XP. The name Wine means Wine Is Not an Emulator , Think of Wine as a compatibility layer for running Windows programs. WINE Permiteds to install WEBAGRIS, following the established procedure (steps) as described in WEBAGRIS 2.0 manual distributted together with the installation software and can be downloaded from : http://www.fao.org/agris/tools/WebAGRIS/Webagdw.htm

To execute this exe in Gnu/Linux we have to use wine first installed. Ex. cd /home/administrador/Desktop/webagris/xitami and to run the following instruction: wine bw3224d6.exe
