Enbarr Foundation CIC An Introduction www.enbarrenterprises.com

www.enbarrenterprises.com Enbarr foundation cic Introducing Enbarr Foundation, a recently formed Social Enterprise to support the local community in upskilling and bridging the gap to employment and wellbeing. We are committing time and resource and a mechanism to inspire young people, along with the long term unemployed, ex-forces and their families, gain the support required to enter the labour market and maintain sustainable long-term employment to contribute towards the regeneration of the local communities. www.enbarrenterprises.com

www.enbarrenterprises.com Visions and Values? Community Regeneration – We will raise awareness by upskilling and creating a positive impact on our community, environment and our people. Increase Disability Employment Opportunities – We will educate, support and train businesses and communities locally to maximise awareness and improve opportunities. Inspiring the Future Generation – We will commit time and resource to support our next generation through school / college engagement programmes to inspire young people to be innovative turning ideas into projects Our Local Growth Commitment– We will guide and support businesses along with entrepreneurs in business planning, marketing and growth to create further employment opportunities.  Providing an ongoing commitment to nurture business start-ups to succeed www.enbarrenterprises.com

www.enbarrenterprises.com Good NEWS STEM Event - We offered our support to the event organisers to supply volunteers throughout the full event. Working with our local community programme, 5 young people were able to volunteer on the day to increase employability skills, social inclusion and confidence. All of which had a fun day out and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Redundancy Support – Due to local mass redundancies, Enbarr Foundation CIC have been supporting employees with CV’s, Job Applications and Interview Preparation. We have also linked up with an expanding local company to look at transferrable skills and upskilling requirements with funding available. We envisage this will secure c20 permanent new positions. www.enbarrenterprises.com

www.enbarrenterprises.com A Customer Journey Background – Aged 32, Ex-Offender, released in December 2016 after serving a 9 year sentence He had been actively seeking employment for 8 months with no success and becoming disheartened by the lack of support available. He joined Enbarr in August 2017 seeking help to find him employment, he said “I just want to make my mum and son proud”. Enbarr contacted our supportive employer CAD Recycling and gained him an opportunity close to home where he could achieve his goal to obtain full time employment, speaking to our customer recently on his experience he said “Enbarr gave me a chance and got me a chance, a month down the line I’m still employed and looking forward to the future, thank you”. www.enbarrenterprises.com

www.enbarrenterprises.com Our Achievements Flintshire Business Awards 2017 Enbarr were proud to be the only company to receive 2 awards from the individual categories being the ‘Most Socially Responsible Business’ and the ‘Entrepreneur Award’ sponsored by Wates Residential and Pochin. An impressive success given the local competition with companies established 30 years prior to Enbarr, larger workforces and greater financial turnover all in our categories, we couldn’t be prouder. The opportunities and platform the awards have given Enbarr cements our long-term sustainability and growth plans over the next 5 years. www.enbarrenterprises.com
