 Maniks Regulating Valve:

 Regulating Valve:  Regulating valve is a device used to control pressure, temperature, flow rate or some other parameters. These valves are designed for the applications where differential pressure is desired. They are often installed in the connection point between distinct heating systems and a consumer building to ensure that there is a constant differential pressure is available for the buildings heating systems.

 Maniks Regulating Valves:  Maniks has designed a regulating valve used exclusively for the refrigeration applications. It is constructed to withstand in a high internal pressure. However, the piping system in general should be designed to avoid liquid traps and reduce the risk of hydraulic pressure caused by thermal expansion.regulating valve  Temperature control process in refrigeration systems depends on the pressure control in different system. Therefore there should be a definite control on pressure of the systems is very important. This pressure is available with either upstream or downstream regulating valve.

 Features of Maniks Regulating valve:  Connections:  Butt-weld DIN (EN 10220) – DN (3/8 - 2½ in.)  Butt-weld ANSI (B Schedule 80) – DN (3/8 - 1½ in.)  Butt-weld ANSI (B Schedule 40) – DN (2 - 2½ in.)  Socket weld (ANSI B 16.11) – DN (½ - 1½ in.)  FPT inside pipe thread, NPT (ANSI/ASME B ) – DN (½ - 1¼ in.)  Housing:  Housing is Standard MSVA angle-way or straight-way housing allowing other inserts from the MSVL platform to be installed.  Material is special, cold resistant steel

 Technical Specifications of a Maniks Regulating Valve:  Refrigerants Applicable to HCFC, HFC, R717 (Ammonia) and R744 (CO2). Can be used in chemical and petro-chemical applications.  Temperature range –60/+150°C (–76/+302°F)  Max working pressure 52 bar g (754 psi g)  Flow coefficients for fully opened valves from Kv = 0.15 to 80 m3/h (Cv = 0.17 to 92.5 USgal/ min).

 Regulating Valve Installation:  Install the valve with the spindle up or in horizontal position. The flow must be directed towards the cone.  The Maniks regulating valve is designed to withstand high internal pressure. However, the piping system in general should be designed to avoid liquid traps and reduce the risk of hydraulic pressure caused by thermal expansion.
