It is a very short half term (only 5 weeks) so we will keep encouraging the children to work to the best of their ability. Maths English Number work continues to be a focus in maths, and we will look at fractions with some link to decimals. We will also be looking at Year 3 shape work. This half term the children will write a variety of different text types based around our topic Predators. We will use our writing robot sheets to help children achieve the aims of the Year 3 curriculum. George's Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl will be our whole class reading book. Topic & Science Science: Animals and their habitats Topic: Predator is our topic for this term. We will look at a range of animals and how they fit within a food chain and food web. We will look at predatory plants and how they have evolved. We will use computing and coding to generate our own prey and predator game.
