DO NOW Please check the demographic form (white) on your student’s desk. Make any changes or corrections. Put the completed form in the Teacher Info basket at the back of the classroom by the long table. If you agree to have our PTA Room Coordinator (Dhashnaa Chinnasamy) use your email address to mail out information from PTA, please fill out and sign the form (blue). Put the blue paper in the Teacher Info basket at the back of the classroom by the long table. Please read your child’s letter and write a reply. Take home the current PTA newsletter for your reading enjoyment.

Daily Schedule

Specialists Library Books are due on or before Wednesday mornings. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for PE on Monday and Friday. PE teacher – Mr. Mokin Music teacher – Ms. Tolley Librarian – Mr. Klein

What will homework look like? New ISD Homework Policy K-2 No more than 15-20 minutes a night. Please have students read and discuss their reading unless there is a math assignment. Please spend NO more than 10-15 minutes on the math homework. STOP if your child is struggling. No homework on Friday or over breaks.

If they’re stuck for something to write about, they can study the page and perhaps get an idea. This was a powerful tool when we wrote personal narratives last year!
