Positive Intervention Programme Colin Shaw

Remit Provide a wrap around support service for students, especially those at high risk of not achieving. Support includes: Behaviour support Learning support Mentoring support

How it works ‘One team’ ethos putting students and their success at the heart of everything we do. Referral Case review Plan including ‘Boot Camp’ Reflection Reengagement Monitoring Review

What we have done this year Thorough review of all applications identified 459 students with high risk factors: Prior behaviour issues Learning support need NEET EAL Support in place from day 1 238 student at half term All students on a study programme have access to a Personal Support Tutor

So what has the impact been? 78% of students identified as high risk of not achieving their qualification achieved and had positive progression 13/14. 238 students receiving some form of support 14/15. Reduced early leavers by 25% 14/15
