Special powers/Strengths Hermes is called “Psychopompos” (herdsman of he dead or guider of the souls), messenger, patron of travelers and athletics. Bringer of sleep and dreams, thief, and trickster. Hermes is a god of music. He’s the messenger of herald of the gods and was known for his cunning and as a thief from the day of his birth.

Major acomplishments He brought the dead to the underwood in his role of “phychopompos”. Zeus made his theiving son Hermes god of comerece. Hermes invented various devices, especially musical ones and fire. He was also the inventor of the various rustic arts: the primitive shepherd's lyre made from a tortoise-shell, shepherd's pipes, and pastoral poetry and fable.
Short story When hermes was still an infant, he once went out of his cradle and started an adventure to Pieria, in northern Greece. He was going to steal the cattle from his half-brother Apollo. Hermes discovered the herd very soon. One by one, he started pulling the hoofs out of the cows’ feet and re-attaching them in the reverse order. The same he did to his own sandals. Then he took the herd, which now seemed to be walking backwards and hid the herd inside a cave. Finally, he returned to his cave in Mount Cyllene in Arcadia.
