What would you do if you were a member of the opposite gender? What would you be like? Would you be respectful to the other gender? Would you expect to be treated differently?

Let’s talk about impossible things….

When we want to express impossible or unlikely situations, we use SECOND CONDITIONAL.

Today’s recipe: S.C. cake Mix ‘If’ with the past. Add a little comma Join the mix with a sentence in conditional (would /’d/+ verb) Now it’s ready to serve! Bon Appetite! 

What’s the difference between… Second Conditional (S.C) If I had enough money, I would buy an expensive car. (It’s just a dream, not very real. ) First Conditional (F.C) If I have enough money, I will buy some shoes. (It’s much more possible than the last situation)

If I had a million dollars, I would travel around the world.

Note: Verb ‘to be’ in S.C. is WERE in every person. If she were taller, she wouldn’t wear high-heeled shoes. Note: Verb ‘to be’ in S.C. is WERE in every person.

‘If I were in your shoes…’ If I were you, I would stay at home. Give advice. ‘If I were in your shoes…’
