Psalm 38: 35-37 35 “They remembered that God was their Rock,     that God Most High was their Redeemer. 36 But then they would flatter Him with their mouths,     lying to Him with their tongues; 37 their hearts were not loyal to Him,     they were not faithful to His covenant.”

Proverbs 21:21 “He who pursues righteousness and loyalty finds life, righteousness and honor.”

Proverbs 3: 3-4 3 “Never let loyalty and kindness leave you!     Tie them around your neck as a reminder.     Write them deep within your heart. 4 Then you will find favor with both God and people,     and you will earn a good reputation.”

It is right (especially as we will soon be going to The Lord’s Table), to ask for God’s help in examining ourselves: 1.) Am I loyal to my spouse/dating partner? 2.) Am I loyal to my friends? 3.) Am I loyal to Jesus’ church? 4.) Is my loyalty divided in serving God?
