All Aboard the Ship of Dreams Welcome to the bon voyage of the Titanic! -Team Rose

Storyline Our goal is to make guests feel as if they are about to take a first class bon voyage on the Titanic. Guests will enter into the reception ship deck during the day time. They will enjoy games, food, drinks, and entertainment for 30 minutes. At the sound of the trumpet, they will enter the Dining Saloon to continue with dinner and more entertainment.

Cuisine Our cuisine will be a traditional French style menu. It is very similar to what was served served to first class members during their voyage on the Titanic. When guests enter into the dining room, all servers will be standing along the wall. Guests will be served a four course meal.

1st Course—Soup French Onion Soup

2nd Course—Main Course Chicken Lyonnaise, Roasted Green Beans, Chateau Potatoes Vegetarian Option – Zucchini Farci

Asparagus, Tomato, and Feta Vinaigrette salad 3rd Course—Salad Asparagus, Tomato, and Feta Vinaigrette salad

Chocolate Cream Puffs served with cold French Vanilla Ice Cream 4th Course—Dessert Chocolate Cream Puffs served with cold French Vanilla Ice Cream

Gold Plate Service Style 1) Servers will walk into the dining room holding a plate in each hand (2 total) and walk to their first table and stand behind the guest. 2) When the head server nods, the whole team serves from the left with their left hands. 3) Take a step to the left and move the second plate from your right hand to the left, wait for the head server to nod, and serve your second guest from the left side with your left hand. 4) Put hands behind your back, follow your head server out in a line, smile, and walk carefully. 5) Repeat these steps for your second table.

Clearing Plates 1) Walk back in with hands behind your back and smiles on your faces. 2) If the guest still has food on their plate, kindly ask if they are finished. If not, leave the plate and check back in a few minutes! 3) When your whole team gets to the table, look at your head server for a nod to begin clearing plates. 4) Clear from the right with your right hand. Then, move one step to the left and move the plate from your right hand to your left hand so you can clear the second plate from the right, as well. 5) Follow your head server out in a line and walk carefully. Quickly bring dishes to the dish station. 6) Repeat these steps for your second table.

Things to Remember The first class atmosphere is meant to feel elegant and classy! Always smile and pay attention to your guests. Respond politely to any questions or comments. Work as a group and pay attention to your head server; serving goes smoothly when your whole team is in sync. Stick to the expected timeline; the dinner goes by quickly and we need to stay on task! Have fun & thanks SO MUCH for helping!
