AFR Unit 1A Study Guide

PRE-FILM Explain “The Persistence of Vision.” Who was its original theorist?  Who was Edward Muybridge, and what was his contribution to early film? Who “invented” the kinetoscope and kinetograph? Explain the difference between the two devices? Who did Edison employ to help him design his first film camera?
