Hasaun Logan, Janelle Lanier, Jahsir Ensley, and Kiara Simmons Projector Stem build Hasaun Logan, Janelle Lanier, Jahsir Ensley, and Kiara Simmons

ask How are we going to build this projector with only a cardboard box and a smart phone and packing tape a magnifying glass? (Janelle) What is a projector? (Jahsir) What are we going to use the magnifying glass for? (Kiara) What are we building? (Hasaun)

imagine I imagine: the projector will work if the magnifying glass is in the front. (Kiara) the light goes through the mirror. (Hasaun) Imagine that the mirror goes in the front (Jahsir) Projector put the light in the box wit the magnifying glass (Janelle)

pROBLEM The problem Is the people in Jamaica don’t have a projector so we are designing a projector so they cant see our whole class when we skype.

plan For our projector we are letting the light come out of the top. For our projector we are putting the smart phone in the box. Then we are taping the smart phone on the box. For our projector we are putting the magnifying glass in the front.

create Build 1 My group built a projector. We decided how to build a projector. First, we folded the box. Next, we put a hole in the box. Then, we put the magnifying glass in front of the box. Finally, we put the phone down in the box. We tested our projector and found out that it did work.
